What is AMPdj (Alliance of Party and Mobile DJs)?
AMPdj is an organisation for mobile DJs, run by mobile DJs with extensive experience of the Mobile Disco Industry, business and marketing.
We use this expertise to provide our members with a service that has already proved to be a success for Mobile DJs across the UK - not just providing them with a great deal on DJ Public Liability Insurance but providing leads for parties and events they wouldn't otherwise have received.

What do I get for my membership?
As a member of AMPdj, you will receive £10m DJ PL Insurance, the
option of discounted mobile disco equipment insurance, a free Public
Liability Insurance
Validator for your website and receive all enquiries
submitted for your chosen area. There are other
benefits too and you'll find an updated list on the
AMPdj
Main Site.
Is this a listing site?
No - and there's a good reason for this. When
clients search for a DJ and they click on a listing
site they then have to search again - this may have
worked (& indeed did) in the past but today's web
surfer wants a quicker solution and we can provide
it.
With our system, clients click once to reach our
site, complete and submit a simple form, which is
automatically forwarded to our registered members in
that area, and they just sit back and wait (or get
on with something else). Clients prefer this system,
leaving it up to the individual DJs to reply to
them, promote their services and ultimately secure
the booking.
We have conducted extensive market research, with
both clients and DJs, and we know that this method
works. DJs receive more enquiries, choose the ones
that interest them and reply. Clients receive the
replies and make a choice - which again, from our
research & experience, is not always based on the
cheapest - especially when someone can offer (or
exceed) the service they are looking for.
How can I join if I don't have a PayPal account?
You don't need a PayPal account to join. If you have
a debit or credit card simply click 'continue' in
the 'Don't have a PayPal Account' section when you
reach it from the
DJ Area.
If you don't have a debit or credit card, you can
pay via cheque and we will manually activate your
account.
How many sites are there?
AMPdj currently has five websites aimed at promoting
to clients and gaining enquiries (see right):

The enquiry is yours to deal with how you wish (although you cannot pass it on to another DJ). Each enquiry will give you sufficient details including date, location, function type, a phone number and email address. It is then up to you to contact the potential client, let them know how you can meet their requirements and of course provide them with a quote for your services.

What is the Insurance Cover?
It's £10million Public Liability Insurance (DJ PLI), plus £10million Product Liability Insurance. Provided by Royal & Sun Alliance.
Does the Insurance cover my disco equipment?
Equipment Insurance is separate from Public Liability Insurance. Our broker will provide a discounted quote for AMPdj members insuring their disco equipment (price comparison table for DJ equipment insurance).
Does the PLI Insurance cover my vehicle for DJ use?
You can take out vehicle insurance which will include your occupation (full or part-time) as a mobile DJ by getting in touch with our specialist broker Adrian Flux. For more information go to Latest News
